Immediately turning critic's heads with a Grammy-nominated debut CD of Bach’s six Brandenburg Concertos, Swiss Baroque Soloists leapt onto the international stage with “musicologically sensitive” and “sonically exceptional” performing. The artistic brainchild of two of the world’s most accomplished baroque virtuosos – Argentinean violinist Andres Gabetta and Swedish baroque trumpeter Niklas Eklund – the orchestra is “a period-instrument effort populated by virtuosos from top to bottom” with members representing no fewer than five continents and nine countries.
